Museum Garden

During a particular course the opportunity for developing and executing once own design was given. The design task was to create a museum garden, and exploring different materials and shapes.
The Museum Garden worked with the idea of a chess pattern that became 3 dimensional pyramids going either up or down. Some of the pyramids were covered with grass and others with cobble stones. The pyramids were then elements to surround and integrate the art piece in the environment and space of a museum garden. The art piece should then be placed on the tilted square of cobble stones.
By lifting and lowering the pyramids the space becomes dynamic and a place you walk into and become a part of.
Different strategies were used to create the pyramids with the right dimensions and form.
