TC Royal Manor is a urban development project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The assignment was to create a new city centre with engaging activities for the new residents of the developing area. The placement is surrounded by new housing developments planning to inhabit 40.000 new residents within the next 3-5 years.
The design works with local planning strategies to incorporate user friendly activities and enhance local integration. The project focuses on using sustainable and green solutions to activate and engage the users, with local stormwater basins that incorporates a sports arena. Place for local school with adjacent urban farming and biodiversity intiatives that the students and other users can investigates. Along with fitness stations around the place and meadow and orchards the design embraces the possibilities for optimum local anchorage.
