ILF Landscape Architecture is established by Chartered Landscape Architect Isabella L. Bhoan.



ILF operates at the nexus of ecology and technology. ILF’s core strength lies in bridging ecology and aesthetics, crafting landscapes that are technically robust, socially inclusive, and environmentally regenerative.

ILF Landscape Architecture is a design-led nature-driven practice grounded in an  emphasizes on Eco-harmony, fostering collaboration between nature, technology, and humanity. Founded by Isabella L. Bhoan in 2016, the studio is dedicated to rethinking how landscape can  champion a holistic approach that integrates social and environmental factors to craft distinct environments, nurturing both people and biodiversity in a time of ecological urgency

At ILF, we specialize in designing contemporary, site-responsive landscapes that integrate natural systems into the fabric of everyday life. Our work focuses on “rewilding” urban spaces, restoring ecological balance through layered, resilient, and human-centered design. We believe landscape architecture is not an afterthought but a primary tool to improve urban living, strengthen local identity, and foster environmental responsibility.

With a background in award-winning Danish and UK studios, unique New York experience, and a portfolio that spans private, collaborative, and international projects, Isabella brings a thoughtful, systems-based approach to every site. The studio’s methodology combines spatial sensitivity with ecological intelligence, leveraging digital tools, material research, and environmental data to inform decisions at every stage of design.
